Description
Description
Fun fact first. The name coincidently is the same as the one from Clever Acosta, though it is not the same farm.
We got this coffee via the direct trade import of Heilandt from Finca Churupampa. Let's say the bag was very small and it easily fitted into the same container. Our friend Thomas Pingen from Red Beetle Coffee Lab told us it was super nice and we got it without pre-shipment samples which we never regret. The whole harvest was 10kg and it is side/hobby project of Miguel for mainly himself. Nothing to pay the rent with. We are super happy he shared this one with us and finally you guys.
The coffee offers us a superb washed Gesha profile from Peruvian terroir. Nothing added, no tricks. Just terroir and variety and a well executed washed process.
Mellow crisp citric acidity, florals as long you can see (or taste) and a comforting honey sweetness make this clean cup one for all Gesha lovers out there. Perfect for a sunday might describe it perfectly.
